2014's Best Promoted Films!

Film promotions have taken new heights in 2014! Stars have gone above and beyond to promote their films in unique ways. Salman Khan and Kangana Ranaut were seen dancing away at night clubs to promote Kick and Queen respectively. Emraan Hashmi conned fans in true Raja Natwarlal fashion. Vid Das and Farhan Akthar traveled in auto rickshaws to party at clubs for Shaadi Ke Side Effects. Varun Dhawan arrived in a doli while Alia Bhatt arrived with the baraat for the release of their movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. For Daawat-e-Ishq Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapoor went on a food yatra all over India trying new and different foods. For Kill Dill Ali Zafar, Parineeti Chopra and Ranveer Singh hit a tattoo convention! Not only creative stunts were used but star families got involved to promote their loved ones. All the Kapoor’s came out to support the debut of Armaan Jain and Priyanka Chopra was seen heavily involved in promoting her cousin Manara Chopra. So who held the best promotions? 1. Happy New Year

With an all star cast Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan didn’t hold back in the promotions department. The cast has been seen on every single show together from reality shows to talk shows, shooting interviews all over the world, holding a concerts all over the world and they even created their own reality show, Dil Se Nachein Indiawale on Zee TV!

2. Bang Bang

Bang Bang was a full on action flick with amazing stunts and Hrithik Roshan aka India’s superhero, was the best choice for the role. For promotions of course there were the usual launch parties, interviews and sexy music videos but Hrithik also hit twitter to challenge his star friends with a #BangBangDare! He got SRK to post a video of his work out, Ranveer Singh posted a video of him dancing in the middle of the street to “Main Aisa Kyon Hoon,” Shraddha Kapoor posted a video singing with no make up on, Priyanka Chopra did a handstand and Vidya Balan showed up on Hrithik’s photoshoot dressed as a beggar man! Many more stars joined in on the challenge and it was amazing to see the whole industry banding together to promote.

Aamir Khan releases so few films the 1 or 2 that he does a year automatically gains so much attention he doesn’t have to do much but Aamir has definitely made great efforts to promote this unconventional film. There has been controversy surrounding the film and especially Aamir Khan’s scandalous film poster. A naked Aamir strategically holding a radio has blown away fans!
