South Asian dancers in North America are taking dancing to another level in the sports industry! With sports being such a huge part of our lifestyle one dance squad is ready to take the Bolly dance moves on the football field! Arya Dance Academy has been invited to perform at the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl in Las Vegas, NV on December 20th, 2014. It is the first time in history, that a South Asian dance school, teaching Bollywood and Classical Dance, will not only perform the halftime show but choreograph over 200 dancers! Pretty Impressive!
The performance will take place in front of a crowd of 42,000-45,000 (anticipated)! The event will be aired nationwide on ABC and there will be a live stream on ESPN for millions across the world to watch! We are very honored to bring our Indian community to the forefront of one of the leading sports in America!
Arya students, from coast to coast, will be traveling to have the experience of a lifetime. Arya Dance team currently has students participating from our branches in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Massachusetts, Texas, Indiana, California, Arizona, Maryland, and Virginia! Students will get a 4 day, 3 night immersion into Las Vegas and what goes into making a halftime show possible. Eat, Sleep, Dance is the motto!
Arya Dance Academy previously has made history as being the first and largest South Asian dance academy to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They also have performed at the IIFA Awards in Tampa, Diwali in Times Square, Dance India Dance North America Editions, Disney Performing Arts, Competitions in all states, and many more! We are thrilled to bring them to such a grand stage with the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl. Looks like this is one show you can’t miss on Live Televsion!
