It’s Halloween time in the United States, and horror movies are the perfect things to watch during this time. If you’re sick of watching old horror movies, check out the film “Muck,“ which stars Indian actress Puja Mohindra.
While watching the trailer for this highly stylized and hyper-violent film, remind yourself that Muck was produced for only $200,000 in less than a year. The creative and resourceful production team managed to shoot on Red Epics in New England’s protected wetlands, survive 19 grueling all-night shoots, and convince Universal Studios to mix Muck’s sound for free.
Muck will host a special “Sneak Peek” at Stan Lee’s Comikaze 2013 where fans can get an advanced look at the first 8 minutes of Muck, followed by a Q & A session with the main cast and Steve Wolsh, the writer/director of the film.
Fans can meet the cast, including 2012 Playboy Playmate of the Year Jaclyn Swedberg, at the Muck booth, which will be located between the Hot Topic Main Stage and Stan Lee’s Super Booth.
All the violence and gore in Muck (and there’s a lot) was created without any CGI … absolutely none. Check out the specially designed props and weapons on display at the Muck booth.
Wishing the film lots of good Muck!
