The talented artist put a lot of though and heart into the track he released during the celebrations of Vaisakhi in 2013. He definitely didn’t expect all the love and support the track received from fans all over the world. Speaking about the track, Jaz Dhami said,

“This song has had such an overwhelming response from my Punjabi listeners, the love and respect I’ve received from it has been humbling. But it’s also raised questions amongst many of you about the songs meaning and why I chose to do it. For those fans here is my interpretation of what Meh Punjabi Boli Ah means to me.”
