Music What's Happenin'

Contrabands launches “How You Like Me Now?” the first single from the debut album EDM sensation Lost Stories

Contrabands, a joint venture between Universal Music India, one of the biggest record labels today, India’s premier Entertainment channel, Vh1, and leading live music venue Hard Rock Café, announced the release of ‘How You Like Me Now?’ the first single from EDM band Lost Stories’ debut album, Music for the # Generation.

Contrabands was launched earlier this year to create a unique platform for independent artists and Lost Stories will be the first artists to release an album under the label. Titled ‘How You Like Me Now?’, the track encapsulates the journey of self-discovery and assertion that every teenager goes through. It also highlights the materialistic aspects of present day life and the digital revolution led by social network media. Speaking on their latest single, Lost Stories quote,

“We have always aimed our music to be an escape from the rut of the daily life and our first ever video does complete justice to this concept. How you like me now is about disparity, peer pressures, ragging and bullying. The lyrics of the song are extremely catchy and sticks in your mind on one listen. We believe that the video will strike a chord with everyone as all of us have that one person who looks down upon us and getting even with them becomes our motto. The sound is fresh and diverse from our usual dark ways and we are sure that this single is going to be a rage in just a few days.”

Lost Stories is a prolific Indian electronic music duo comprised of India’s best EDM producers Prayag Mehta and Rishab Joshi. They collaborated and started producing in the first half of 2008, under the alias of Lost Stories. Their eclectic blend of progressive sounds and uplifting melodies has identified them as the next big thing both within the country as well as across the globe, even catching the attention of such music personalities as Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Andy Moor. They have also shared the stage with EDM big-wigs like Dash Berlin, Sander Von Doorn, Chicane, Cosmic Gate. TV Rock, Marco V, Acid Jack, and Marcel Woods.
