The debutant director Faraz Haider is very confident about India’s first war comedy, ‘War Chhod Na Yaar.’ Starring Sharman Joshi, Soha Ali Khan and Javed Jaffery.
The film is a satire and Faraz has taken all the necessary steps to avoid any type of complications or any type of controversy by consulting with army officials. Faraz stated,
“I don’t think I will hurt anyone’s sentiments as I have consulted the army officials. Initially they had some doubts but after listening to the scenes and the story they were convinced. They could also connect with the film in a big way.It is a patriotic film and talks about the soldiers of both India and Pakistan. We have tried to bring their life on the celluloid in a very humorous way without hurting anyone.”
Faraz Haider is one director that is stepping out the box to bring the audience something new to view. We just have to wait an see the new buzz here at Urban Asian.
