Now we know who's Gippi!

Dharma Productions and UTV Motion Pictures have just released the poster and trailer of Karan Johar’s Gippi, today! The movie has enjoyed the most unique build up, with youth icons Arjun Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Imran Khan and Parineeti Chopra providing exclusive introduction to Gippi.

The movie, directed by debutant Sonam Nair, is a coming of age story of a young girl named Gippi. The poster features Gippi, surrounded by what seems to be Gippi’s interests, like Shammi Kapoor’s dance moves and ‘Mummy ke Pakode.’

For the past week, various stars have spoken about how they’ve met Gippi, and what they have in common with her, or how they felt after meeting her. Curiosity about Gippi has been at an all-time high, and audiences have been anxious to ‘Meet Gippi’. The first look of Gippi has more than lived up the hype, the fanciful colors along with the anxious expression on Gippi’s face gives the impression of a very whimsical movie.
