Rohan Sippy’s ‘Nautanki Saala’, produced by RSE and T series, has had an amazing opening weekend! The movie, starring Ayushmann Khuranna and Kunal Roy Kapur has racked up 13.25 cr. just on opening weekend!
The break up for the three days is Friday – 3.50 Cr. Saturday – 4.50 and Sunday – 5.25 cr. As per reviewers the film is a total paisa vasool. Taran Adarsh says,
“(the film) Witnessed remarkable growth over the weekend. Business at urban centres in particular was simply wonderful, while the mass-dominated circuits too, surprisingly witnessed day-wise escalation. Has collected approx Rs. 13.25 nett in its opening weekend.” Taran adds that the pluses of the film include, “Interesting premise. Offers plenty of good laughs. Super camaraderie between Ayushmann and Kunal.”
This is only Ayushmann Khurrana’s second movie and it has earned more than the first day collections of ‘Vicky Donor’ which was 1.88 cr. Makers are hopeful that this film will also be a hit like ‘Vicky Donor!’
