Karan Johar’s Agneepath releasing in January 2012 has been much awaited by audiences since it began filming almost a year ago. It is a remake, or some say an adaptation, of the 1990 film of the same name. But what is most exciting about this new movie is its casting of Rishi Kapoor as ‘Rauf Lala.’
Rishi Kapoor took this role after saying that it was one he could not refuse, as the character was very interesting. Fascinatingly, the last time he had worked with Dharma Productions was 27 years ago, on Duniya. His character of ‘Rauf Lala’ in Agneepath is rumored to contribute greatly to the theme of the film and take the story to levels beyond imagination.
We hope Rishi Kapoor will continue to stun us with his brilliant acting in the upcoming film!
