RDB & Nindy Kaur, Prita Chhabra to Perform at TIGERFEST Brampton

Urban Asian has always supported charitable causes, of which TIGERFEST is one of them. TIGERFEST is an annual charity wrestling exhibition and free concert featuring wrestling legend Tiger Jeet Singh and his son former WWE superstar Tiger Ali Singh.

This year, TIGERFEST will take place in Chinguacousy Park on Saturday, September 24th – a date chosen to coincide with Brampton Day in order to capitalize on the crowds it traditionally attracts. Scotia Bank and Century 21 New Star Realty will be the presenting sponsors for this exciting family event.

Schedule of Events:

  • 2:00 PMTigers High School Challenge – featuring top student athletes from six Peel Region High Schools.  The four male and four female athletes will compete in multiple array of ‘Fireman Challenge’ style events, culminating with each team pulling a bus across the finish line!
  • 3:00 to 5:00 PMMusic performances by RDB, Nindy Kaur, Prita Chhabra – Bollywood music superstars and Brampton Brand Ambassadors RDB & Nindy Kaur will perform live on the main stage.  RDB will also enter the ring with Tiger to world premiere their new “Tiger Intro” theme music for the former WWE Superstar.  Making a special appearance will be Canadian recording artist Prita Chhabra who will perform her hit single “Roots” – from which proceeds have been benefiting the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation’s Japan Relief Campaign.
  • 5:00 PMBell Time! – TIGERFEST will culminate in a two hour exhibition of live professional wrestling with living legend Tiger Jeet Singh making a special guest appearance and his son former WWE superstar Tiger Ali Singh wrestling in the main event.  The blockbuster line up will also include former WWE Superstars Tatanka, Bushwhacker Luke, Robbie McAllister and Sheik Abdul Bashir with Tyson Dux, Mohammad Hassan, Quebec’s Heavyweight Champion Draggo and the 6’7” 400 lbs. monster Darkko rounding out the card.

The audience will also be treated to surprise guest appearances by former WWE, TNA and UFC superstars, who will join the Tigers at the conclusion of the wrestling event to sign autographs on specially designed TIGERFEST t-shirts, produced by Desi Wear.

The event is free to watch, however a minimum donation of $10 is required for entry into the limited VIP Ringside seating area.  The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation will donate proceeds to the Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health & Wellness, Japan Relief Campaign and Salvation Army. Non-perishable donations for the Food Bank will also be gratefully accepted on site.
