After years in the Indian music industry, it seems that the talented supersinger Sunidhi Chauhan has finally been spotted in the west. The latest buzz is that sizzling Latin hunk, Enrique Iglesias, is all set to collaborate with Sunidhi on a track from his latest album entitled “Euphoria.” The duet will feature on the ‘Special India Edition’ version of the album. Sunidhi and Enrique are currently busy shooting the video for the song “Heartbeat.” There is already a version of this track featuring Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger and Iglesias, but the new version will feature Sunidhi instead of Scherzinger.
How did the collaboration come about? Well, reports say that Universial Music India was contacted by Iglesias. Composer Shameer Tandon then contacted Sunidhi as he will be composing the track. Tandon has previously worked on the scores for movies like: Page 3, Corporate, Jail and Mission Istanbul, etc.
Says Sunidhi: “I have always appreciated Enrique’s music. It’s from the soul, be it his Spanish or English work. So when I was offered to collaborate with him by Universal Music India and composer Shameer Tandon, who is a good friend of mine, I accepted it happily. I am glad we are collaborating on a track from his successful latest album Euphoria.”
Are you all as excited for this track as we are?!
