Amir Khan is quite the gambler! And he’s certainly got a lion’s heart! His victorious Las Vegas debut Saturday night at Mandalay Bay had everyone at the edge of their seats! Even though the Bolton boy got whooped by Marcos Maidana, King Khan rose to 24-1 with 17 knockouts, dropping Maidana to 29-2 with 27 knockouts. WBA junior welterweight champion Khan defended his title and won with favouring scores of 114-111, 114-111 and 113-112, as per the judges.
The champ tweets, “Morning all, its nearly 9am here in vegas I leav for LA at 1pm. Been a great vegas debut, P4p hav me at 14 and no2 in world rankings, nice.
