Abhishek Sharrma has been making his mark in the entertainment industry with his strong performance as Devansh, the male lead in Vasudha. The actor has received love from viewers for his work on the show, and as Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated, Abhishek opened up about his faith in Bappa, the wishes he has made and how the festival has changed for him after gaining recognition.

For Abhishek, faith is not about one particular wish coming true. He believes that Bappa has always listened to him and stayed by his side. Talking about the wishes he has made over the years, the actor said,

“I think all my wishes have been granted, like approved by Bappa. Whatever I have asked for, he has always been there. He is always there. So, I can’t name one single wish. I know that whatever I ask for every day, he is with me.”

The Vasudha actor also spoke about the moments when he understands Bappa’s presence only after looking back at what has happened in his life. He added,

“There are some moments when I realise that he is there with me. When things happen, you don’t know. But when you look back, you understand how it happened, why it happened. So, that’s what made my faith stronger. There are so many things in which I know he’s there.”

This Ganesh Chaturthi, Abhishek wants to let go of something that many people struggle with – overthinking. The actor wants to stay calmer, focus on the present and trust that things will fall into place at the right time.

“I’d surrender maybe overthinking. Maybe I would like to relax, and I would like to focus just on being present in the moment and be calm. I know Bappa handles everything,” he said.

Abhishek further explained that his focus is now on doing his work honestly and improving himself every day.

“So, my focus is on doing my work honestly and becoming a better person every day in what I do. And whatever is meant for me, I’ll meet it when the time is right,” he shared.

Interestingly, Abhishek Sharrma does not feel that his celebrations before fame were necessarily better. He revealed that he still visits the same places he used to go to before becoming a part of Vasudha. However, the love he receives from people today has made the experience even more special for him.

“No, I don’t think so because I still go to the same places where I used to visit before doing Vasudha. After being a part of Vasudha, I get more love from people. So, I think this has changed in a very positive way,” Abhishek said.

He also feels that recognition has given him opportunities that were not possible earlier.

“I get an opportunity to go to places where I couldn’t go before. Now I know I can, and it’s a blessing. I think some things have changed only for the better, and it has become beautiful and pure for me,” he concluded.
