The last time we saw Parth Samthaan on our television screens was almost five years ago, with the unforgettable reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. While the actor has made his mark in both web series and film since then, we’re thrilled to see him returning to our screens, making his much-anticipated comeback!
The second season of CID has been on air for a few months, and viewers have been loving the iconic show’s return. It seems the series is aiming to infuse new energy and expand its audience with the introduction of a fresh character, ACP Ayushmann. Parth will be taking on this role. While not much is known about the character or his backstory at this point, there are plenty of reasons to celebrate his return!
We all know what a powerful performer Parth is on-screen. His performances, particularly in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Main Hero Boll Raha Hu, have beautifully showcased his acting skills and how he brings his characters to life in a truly unique way. Along with this, he possesses an undeniable screen presence, making his characters hard to ignore—he’s sure to be a scene-stealer!
This also marks a new genre for him, and it’s fantastic to see him challenging himself while uncovering new strengths. Adding to the excitement is the fact that CID 2 is one of the few television shows that simultaneously airs on the global streaming platform Netflix. This means Parth’s work will reach audiences on more than one major platform, further amplifying his presence worldwide.
