Yes, we’re talking about Ritwik Bhowmik!
In Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, Ritwik portrays Sagor Talukdar, the right-hand man of Bagha, the city’s most powerful gangster. Over time, Sagor and his friend Ranjit overthrow Bagha, and as they rise through the ranks of the criminal underworld, Sagor ventures into politics, becoming a formidable force. His character takes an impulsive turn after the tragic loss of his wife, adding a complex layer to his journey.
Ritwik skillfully brings out the multifaceted nature of Sagor, which is why, as viewers, we find ourselves going from liking him to feeling conflicted and, by the end, sympathizing with his character. His onscreen chemistry with co-star Aadil Khan is also a delight, and the bond between Sagor and Ranjit is undoubtedly a whirlwind of emotions.
Additionally, Ritwik underwent a significant physical transformation for this role, as he shared on social media. This once again serves as a testament to his dedication and how immersive he is in bringing his characters to life.
