“Independence to me means having the freedom to make your own choices, decisions, and actions without being overly reliant on others. It could also imply having the ability to pursue your goals, express your thoughts, and manage your responsibilities with a sense of autonomy and self-sufficiency.”

“While we’ve made significant progress over the years, true independence can be complex and multifaceted. While celebrating milestones like 76 years of Independence, it’s important to consider factors such as social, economic, and political aspects that might still influence our lives. Independence is often an ongoing journey, with varying degrees of autonomy and self-determination achieved over time.”

“There have been instances of sexual assault and rape cases reported in Manipur and other parts of the world. These cases are deeply distressing and highlight the need for effective measures to prevent and address such heinous crimes. It’s important for authorities to thoroughly investigate these cases, ensure justice for the victims, and work towards creating a safer environment for everyone.” He concluded.
