On a regular day, the two songs that would always top my list will be any song from R.D Burman and Kishore Kumaar and Asha Bhosle songs. One of the top most songs will be Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho by Mohammed Rafi. Maybe a song like Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koi Aandhi.
Yuhi Chala Chal Rahi by Swades and Leaving On A Jetplane by John Denver are aspirational and full dreams that give me hope that someday I will get through this.

Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein is the most romantic song of rain. It brings up memories of my first romance, of getting wet in the rain at the beginning of our relationship and eating pakoras after that, watching the rain. I love the song Tera Jaisa Yaar Kahan because it talks of selfless friendship and my friends are my family. Mera Kuch Saamman as the ultimate breakup song. Kahin door jab din dhal jaaye. Soulful to the core. Mere dil mein aaj kya hai: the biggest salute to love.

Le Meri Jaan by Salim – Sulaiman are on top of my list. I listen to music when I am happy, sad or before hitting the stage. It helps me connect with myself. I believe music can help you touch or experience something that is beyond you, that guides you.
Chandaniya Ruk Jana Re is always on my mind and on the top of my list for my daughter. Rest I’m into Hindi folk and English songs as music is beautiful in any language, for me music is soothing and a breather.
Tu Aake Dekhle by Carnival and Pasoori are my favourite songs. I love listening to these on a loop.
