Shamita Shetty gives up the opportunity to video call her mother Sunanda Shetty to save the price money. Says, “no I can’t do it as this is not my money to spend”.

The much-anticipated ‘family call’ episode of Bigg Boss 15 was aired with host Salman Khan himself giving housemates an offer to choose between speaking to their family or choosing on saving the house money. Surely this task proved to be a treat for some who picked on the call, giving up on the money. Nevertheless, when it came to some contestants they chose to take a tough call which was backed up by Salman himself.

In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 15, the contestants were given a choice to pick on the price money which was 2 lakh rupees, or deduct it from the winning amount in return for taking a family members video call. Shamita Shetty who had been viewed as having an emotional breakdown too was seen talking about speaking to her mother for a long time. Little did we know that the star preferred to stick to the price money and gave up on taking the video call of her mother Sunanda Shetty.

Emotional Shamita said,

“I have been talking about speaking to my mother often but this doesn’t feel right as this is not my money to spend. I can’t do it and I know that she will understand.”

This impressed the fans on social media including the viewers who couldn’t stop lauding the latter for her decision.
