Kapil Sharma opens up about his tiff with Sunil Grover and Chandan Prabhakar

At the just held Firangi trailer launch Kapil Sharma got candid and spoke openly about a lot of topics related to his film as well as his personal life. One of those was the ugly fiasco that took place between him, Sunil Grover and Chandan Prabhakar during their Australia tour in March this year.

When asked about what actually transpired there that lead to the whole controversy, Kapil held nothing back and spoke about it all at length.

He said that prior to the Australia Tour (with the team of The Kapil Sharma Show), while shooting for his movie, a co-star passed away. As he was shooting in close proximity with the said actor – the day before he passed away Kapil did a scene with him – he was deeply disturbed. Owing to this he says he had gone as far as requesting the organizers to cancel the event.

But due to all the passes for the show being sold out and all the preparations in place, Kapil accompanied his team abroad for the tour.

Further elaborating he said, being the brand name (his name is in the show’s title), all big asnd small issues were brought to his notice. Not being in a proper state of mind (cause of the death during the shooting of the film), he lost his cool when faced with these issues.

He accepted that he lost his temper and gave Chandan some gaalis. He continues that post the show he didn’t see Prabhakar for a good number of days. On meeting him again, Kapil admits to once again firing him for his disappearance.

He says that he knows that Sunil Grover was trying to play mediator, but Kapil acknowledge that because of his short comings he lost his temper on him too. Though he says there were no hitting with footwear involved.

He says that he would love to reunite with the entire cast of The Kapil Sharma Show again. Adding to this he said that he had invited Sunil Grover to the trailer launch, but the comedian is busy with a prior commitment abroad.

Here’s wishing Kapil Sharma and team Firangi all the best.
