We are just back from the trailer launch of Kapil Sharma’s Firangi. The movie stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill alongside the comedian. The launch was total fun with the cast and crew sharing their experiences on sets, talking about life and lots more.
At the launch, Kapil Sharma bared it all front of the media and openly spoke about the controversy regarding his fallout with co-stars Sunil Grover and Chandan Prabhakar, his feeling for Preeti Simoes, his dependency on alcohol, his health and more.

His fight with Sunil Grover & Chandan Prabhakar
This was and still is big news regarding the comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma. At Firangi trailer launch, Kapil opened up about the controversy and said that he was mentally disturbed by a death of a fellow co-star and then with added tension he lost his cool and blasted at Chandan.
He also said that he had given Chandan gaalis not once but twice. He also admitted that he got into a spat with Sunil when the latter tried intervening between the two.
His health
All know that Kapil hasn’t been totally healthy lately. Many reports had been in circulation that of him cancelling shoot as he isn’t well, fainting on sets as well as being hospitalized. Speaking about this issue Kapil said that it is true that he was under a lot of stress and his alcohol intake too was high. He continued and said that he had been to Bangalore for treatment and is better now.
Relationship with Shah Rukh Khan
Given his poor health recently, Kapil Sharma had had to cancel shooting with Team Jab Harry Met Sejal. It had been reported that SRK along with director Imtiaz Ali had reached the sets and then Kapil canned the shoot.
Clearing the air around the same Kapil said that he was on sets when the cast of JHMS came but he started feeling unwell and hence the shoot was cancelled. He further said that Shah Rukh – who was shooting in a studio nearby- came the next day to check on him. He concluded saying that his relationship with Shah Rukh is very good.
His relationship with Preeti Simoes
Talking about his relationship with Preeti, Kapil said that he still has feeling for her. He admitted that he is impulsive, and many a times he makes major decisions without thinking it through completely.
Alcohol
We all know that Kapil Sharma drinks. What was really sporty of him was accepting it in front of the media. He said that while all the controversies were being fanned by the media, he turned to alcohol for support.
But he said that he felt that drinking it was worsening the problems the next day, and soon he decided to reduce its intake.
