The film is taken place in the era of 2016 BC during prehistorical Indus Valley Civilization in one of the oldest and beautiful cities in the world called Mohenjo-Daro. There he lives a young indigo farmer named Sarman enters this great city and meets the beautiful Chaani who is the daughter of a priest who is predicted to be the origin of a new society.
As love blossoms between the handsome Sarman and gorgeous Chaani, secrets start to unravel ones that no one was supposed to know about Chaani, the greatest city Mohenjo Daro and Sarman himself.
This beautiful film is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker who is known for his Oscar-Nominated movie Lagaan. The stars of the movie are the handsome Hrithik Roshan, it introduces the gorgeous Pooja Hegde along with Kabir Bedi, Arunoday Singh.
