While the entire film fraternity is joining in the festivities of Eid, Ajaz Khan seems to have opted out of celebrations this year.
Commenting on the same the Love Day actor said,
” Celebrating Eid is very much important for me and my family for all these years as it consider very sacred and has religious value. Every year I celebrate Eid at home with my family and friends”
When asked him how this year celebration would be he adds,
“I will not be celebrating Eid this year. I won’t buy new clothes for myself. Though my mother insisted me but I have decided not to.”
So what is the reason for not celebrating? Ajaz said,
” I want to pay respects to the innocent lives which have been taken in Palestine, Burma, Syria and Turkey. How can one celebrate festival when there is demise at home, when innocent brothers and sisters have been killed?”
The actor firmly believe that the world is one big family and is deeply saddened by the tragedies occurring around the world. He further states,
” I urge all those who are celebrating Eid to remember all the innocent victims in your prayers. Eid Mubarak to all!”
