Saurabh Pandey goes to Mayapur for his birthday!

Saurabh Pandey who is celebrating his birthday on 11th May has special plans for his big day. The actor is currently headed to Mayapur the birth place of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to celebrate. From there, he will be going to Kolkata to kickstart the fun.

When contacted Saurabh says,

“My plan for this year is to visit the great temple of Mayapur the birth place of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Their is this beautiful and the largest Temple of world coming up known as Chandroudaya Temple of Vedic Planetarium.”

Saurabh is getting a lot of applause for his portrayal of Lord Krishna in producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Suryaputra Karn as audience are liking Saurabh’s performance. How does it feel to be accepted by the mass?

“I love Krishna and I have got back my fame and name because of him so this year especially instead of visiting Juhu ISKCON I wish to visit Mayapur Temple. Later I wish to visit Dakshnieshwar Temple of Maa Kaali. And followed by the eat Street of Kolkata and visiting other epic places such as Victoria Memorial etc.”

Saurabh actually planned this trip long back and taking a leave of 3 days from his busy shooting schedule. So which has been your most memorable birthday so far?

“My most memorable birthday was the day when my mother gave me birth. I remember that day through my mother’s eyes and words. She fainted after bringing me in this earth and it was the best day of her life. Their cannot be a better day than your first birthday.”

Saurabh also follows a ritual on his birthday every year as he adds,

“Every birthday has been the same for me but it changed when I started to visit temple and started to feed the needy. Until I feed Poor’s I feel guilty partying with my friends. This birthday I would like to treat my eyes by taking the darshans of Krishna Deity.”
