Mrunal Jain needs no introduction. Besides, being one of the hunky stars of television, he is also a cricket team co-owner, Ahmedabad Express at Box Cricket League (BCL). Therefore it comes as no surprise that he is a fitness buff.
A day for him is never complete without a workout drill of 10 minutes cardio, 50 minutes weight training and 10 minutes stretching. Ask him about his inspiration, and he names three names from Bollywood.
“When it comes to fitness, Hrithik Roshan is my idol. You can add, Tiger Shroff to the list now. For someone so young, he is quite motivated and is so fit. I also think very highly of Priyanka Chopra; she is most fit among actresses,”
Given his health regime, the actor surprisingly prefers to call himself a foodie.
“I am a hardcore foodie; I love to eat all types of food.Right now, I am not following any diet and I eat what I like. But I make sure to burn all these with a hard workout,”
Though he’s not on a diet, when he needs to get into shape and keep fit, he indulges in specific food items.
“I eat green vegetables, paneer and soyabean which provides proteins to my body,”
says Mrunal, who’s particular about what he consumes pre and post workout.
“I have to have caffeine or black coffee shots and take proteins within 15 minutes post workout,”
His dos for staying healthy is to : work out for 4 days a week, and if you workout for 6 days, it’s even better. And you should eat fresh fruits and fresh juices.
As for the donts, he follows three commandments: You should not skip your workout, you should not eat junk food and you should not have preservative drinks.
