Chennai Swaggers' turn fans for SRK!

Chennai Swaggers have some swag for sure! The newest addition to Box Cricket League is truly amping up the style quotient on the show. At a recently concluded match, the team was seen staging SRK’s trademark open-arms pose. We were curious as to what were the players doing on the pitch?

Loaded with questions, we called up actress Soni Singh who said,

“Some of my Chennai Swaggers team members are also a part of BCL Punjab’s Chandigarh Team. It was they who told us about this. In their team whenever they took someone’s wicket, they would do this pose to keep up with the light spirit of the game. So we too started with this ritual. It is a very innovative concept and helps keep the happy-go-lucky nature of our team intact.”

Team member Rafi Malik says,

“There was buzz about lack of unity in the beginning. In BCL Punjab we used to do the SRK famous pose. Since we believe in unity is strength so every time like scoring 50 or 100 or a wicket is taken we do this. We express love and passion by this gesture. SRK open arms for his heroine and we do it for winning and it gives us fantastic feeling. I always remeber SRK’s words from Om Shanti Om –Kehte hain ki agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaaho to puri kayanat usey tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.”

Adding praise for team owner Sunny Leone, Rafi states,

“In spite of hectic schedules she comes for every match and she is positive and a big motivation for the team.”
