The internet is a good and bad thing. It’s definitely a bad thing for the Movie and TV industries due to high inflation of pirated films and shows.
But the real question is, what’s worse? Watching a pirated film OR watching a pirated film and being caught by a star in the film on a plane?!
Yes, you heard that right!
A mere passenger got on their flight all prepared to kick it back with a pirated version of Dilwale on their phone. They felt so excited to watch the film which only released about 16 days ago, and projected the film from their phone onto the bulkhead.
Only little did they know that Kriti Sanon was sitting two seats down from them and she tweeted…
Someone watchin pirated version of Dilwale in front of me on phone in the flight! Annoyed!! ? #SayNoToPiracy pic.twitter.com/TWTI5qNoY9

The actress approached the man telling him, he would enjoy the film more in a theater. The man paid no attention to her, nor did he notice who approached her and enjoyed his free entertainment on the plane ride.
Yup..told him politely tht he would enjoy the film more in a theatre.but he was busy showin off his projector! ?? https://t.co/MJWd6pnh6A

This is quite sad and a ‘SMH’ moment for this man…
Kriti was furious. But her fans who agreed with her also disputed the issue by stating,
@kritisanon Piracy is a crime agreed but even ticket sellers/ producers should also think that not everyone can afford a 250-300rs. ticket.

B-town has taken a turn on reducing piracy. They have gone from showing movies on television six-months after its release date to even having it available on official production site platforms. However, this cannot stop the distribution of pirated films. This is not just an issue in Bollywood, but worldwide.
