Kolkata Babu Moshayes bleed blue for Republic Day!

Nivedita Basu’s team Kolkata Baabu Moshayes in BCL Season 2 (Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Sunny Arora and Anand Mishra) is one team which celebrates everything. We ask select team members about their patriotic film on the ocasion of Republic Day (January 26th).

Nivedita Basu – My favorite patriotic movie is Rang De Basanti because it is a new take on the freedom fighters from today’s generation point of view. Amazing cast and songs only added to the entertainment factor.

Hiten Tejwani– I wish all a Happy Republic Day. My most patriotic films are Bhagat Singh and Purab Aur Paschim .Bhagat Singh is a tribute to all the freedom fighters who fought for our freedom. Purab Aur Paschim depicted the cultural diversity of our nation as a whole perfectly.

Salil Acharya– My favorite patriotic movie is Rang De Basanti because I think it was beautifully made with a flavor of patriotism . It hit the right nationalistic chords and showed the angst of a common man.

Vindhya Tiwary– My favorite patriotic movie is Border because it has shown the emotions of Indian Army brilliantly.It made me think of how much sacrifices they make for us to be safe in our country.I salute to their courage and to their families too.

Sudeepa Singh-My favorite patriotic movie is Swades because it shows the love of a modern man towards his country. He uses his education for the welfare of his own country rather than going abroad. The film has a strong message.

Anuj Sachdeva-My favorite patriotic movie is Roja because the movie is very well made and the lyrics of the songs are soulful and the whole feel is energetic.One can almost feel the emotion for our country.
