"I want to create my own style" – Gautam Rode

Saraswatichandra fame Gautam Rode who is currently essaying the role of Karn in Swastik Productions’ (Siddharth Kumar Tewary and Rahul Kumar Tewary) Suryaputra Karn is getting a positive response from audiences as well as the television fraternity.

Talking about his inspiration in portraying a particular character Gautam says,

” Not any particular actor is my inspiration. I want to create my own style. It’s difficult doing mythology than regular daily soaps because we shoot outdoors on regular basis so the set up is different and also the language is very different what we speak in regular life. But at the end of the day I am playing a role so I need to be in the skin of the character.”

He also adds,

“Being an actor you take reference from whatever you have always done in life. It differs from person to person. Mostly it is the process of getting into the mold of the character. Hard work is always there but mythological characters demand a bit of more passion.”
