Actor, model and now singer. How do you juggle such multiple roles?

It’s easy! If u love it, there’s really not much effort. I believe in the labor of love.

What led you to pursue music?

In my short break I wanted to do all the things that were on pause due to my modeling career and music was one of the things. Thanks to my dear friends Meet Brothers who pushed me into this beautiful pond.

Your recent cover Choti Si Asha, pays tribute to children. Tell us a bit about that?

This has been one of my best projects so far in terms of job satisfaction. I have always wanted to do something for the society and what better way when you are on your own boss. Music is a very emotional thing. Thanks to Mr. A.R. Rahman who created the original track of Choti Si Asha in Rang De Basanti and thus through this beautiful song, inspired us and gave way to this idea for the cover song in our heads to feature these underprivileged children from The Vatsalya Foundation in our video where they could feel really special and have a memory to cherish for life. Thanks to Mr. Terence Lewis for being a part of this video and making it even more special.

You visited The Vatsalya Foundation for Children’s Day. What was the experience like?

It was again a memorable one. We wanted to release the song in front of them. Could not wait to see their reactions on seeing themselves on screen. My friends Terence, Rohit Verma, Karan Grover were very kind to be present at the event for encouraging myself and Karan on this step.

We hear that Karan directed your latest track. How would you describe Karan as a director?

He is literally my partner. Partner-in-life, partner-in-crime, partner-in-travel in everything. As a director, he is good. And is only getting better with every passing cover until he becomes the best.

If given a chance to work with any singer, who would you like to work with?

I don’t even deserve to say it because  I am just a particle of dust in this humongous ocean of music. But I have to answer this- the legendary Sonu Nigam.

If not for the entertainment business, what other career path would you have chosen?

I would love to be a veterinarian, because sometimes I feel so helpless in an urgent situation of need for an animal, I can’t wait to get him to medical emergency.

Tell us a bit about your upcoming projects.

It’s definitely musical. At the moment I am enjoying my journey of being a music student. Anything that drops of my cap (like the 2 covers I did recently) are just a treat for me. Covers until I am ready for my own song.

What is your message to fans?

I have so much to tell you all. So much love that u give me keeps me going, it’s my driving force. When I took this musical step, the reason I came out with a cover so soon in my journey is because I couldn’t hold me my reciprocation for your immense wait for me. Thank you so much. I can’t do without all your love! Tons of love, hugs and happiness to each one of you.
