Forget being a Christian or a Catholic for a minute, being Indian alone is enough to tell you that Goa is the place to be during the Christmas season!

It may be true that Christmas is a widely celebrated holiday, but in Goa Christmas has it’s own charm. Goa, the town of Panaji to be precise, decks its hall in grandeur to bringing in the Christmas season.

Being predominated mainly by the Christians, Goa, during this time comes alive in a kaleidoscope of colors and revelry. A carnival procession sets out on the streets of Goa in gusto, bringing to life the best of Goan traditions. Churches are lit up and the entire population of the humble union territory comes out on the streets to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
