San Francisco Global Movie Fest brings you a Multi-Cultral Film Festival!

Film Festivals are growing around the globe and more Indian Film Festivals are being hosted across the country but one special Film Festival has gone above and beyond to collaborate with Hollywood and Bollywood together in showcasing a ton of short films and much more! The Festival of Globe – Silicon Valley (FOGSV) & San Francisco Movie Fest will be organized from 7 -16 August, 2015. Owing to the success of its first year, the second edition has grown from a 3 day festival to a 10 day event. The festival will include screenings of more than 50 films, workshops, panel discussions, government conclaves, cultural events, fashion extravaganzas, ethnic music & dance evenings and more.

Under the administration of The Federation of Indian Association and Dr. Romesh Japra, FOGSV received a tremendous response in its very first year with participation from filmmakers, personalities and cinema aficionados from various countries.  This year, the festival will boast of a bigger assortment of films and events likea Hollywood and Bollywood Premier Night, Grand Awards Night and a unique India Day Parade of the Bay Area. The festival committee has also appointed Indian Actor Prashantt Guptha as its Indian Ambassador.

Speaking about his association with FOGSV, Mr. Prashantt Guptha said, “I am extremely passionate about Indian Cinema and it’s great to see it being celebrated on such a large scale internationally. I am honoured to be representing India and look forward to working closely with the committee, to bring forward and showcase some phenomenal Indian films and talents.”

The FOGSV is designed to embraceand celebrate the culture and films of Indian, Latino, Chinese and Far East Communities.Independent movie producers and actors from across the globe will descend to the technology capital along with NRIs from the IT and medical communities, HNIs, venture capitalists and a lot more. A league of Hollywood and Bollywood supporters will also attend the festival including Jackie Chan, Sharon Stone, Martin Sheen, Sonu Nigam, Bappi Lahri, Gulshan Grover, Shabana Azmi and Deepti Naval.
