With Tanu Weds Manu, she took the mantle many many notches higher with the bumper success of her double role as Tanu and Dattoo, both of which were so distinct and lovable that audiences took them both home, almost making them a part of their lives.
The double role impact has been such that it has got people talking about it. Not only has it been one of the best double role anyone has seen in the recent times but also one of its kinds. While we have seen double roles in Bollywood, Kangana took it a notch above by making it look and sound like two different people altogether- be it the look, body language or dialect.
Kangana as Tanu and Dattoo in the film has been hugely appreciated by audiences and critics and has ensured that she is in a league that makes her her sole competitor – a level that no one else today can boast of. Now with her forthcoming projects including ones with Vishal Bhardwaj and Hansal Mehta, she only has herself to outdo and scale even greater unexplored heights.
