Jeet Gannguli, who has given many top notch songs to the industry till date, has now convinced filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt to lent his vocals for the title track of Mr. X called ‘You can call me X’.
When asked Jeet why he thought of him for the song, he said,
“While composing the track we were looking for a different voice texture for this song. The hook of the song has English lyrics “You can call me X” and the attitude in which Bhatt Sahab sang the song during the song sitting was just fantastic and I thought that Bhatt Sahab’s voice texture is appropriate for the song”. He further added, “It was my wish that Bhatt Sahab sings for my composed song one day.”
While talking about the experience we asked Jeet if it is challenging to work with a production house that is known for its music, he said, “It is very challenging to work with the Bhatt Camp as they have great sense of music.” He further added, “See Bhatt’s are blessed with great sensibility when it comes to music. Soon after hearing the first scratch of the song they judge whether it will be a hit or not. So that’s the biggest plus point for any composer to work with them.”
