As 2014 winds down, we need to begin to focus on 2015, which according to Raju Srivastav is the… “Year of Cleanliness!” His New Year’s Resolution is to make India a clean and green country. However, as we all know, the loftier the resolution the tougher it is to hang on to. Still, like many other Bollywood stars, comedian Srivastav is committed to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” campaign. “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” or “Clean India” campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 2 October to coincide with Gandhi Jayanti. Raju took a broom in his hands to initiate the campaign and nominated several famous personalities to do the same.
Raju Srivastav said,
“My New Year Resolution list doesn’t end its just started. Just, hoping that the New Year will bring lots of colors and positivity in everybody life. It’s a noble and a rare initiative taken for our country which the whole of India supports. It seems like an age of genius revolutions in India. It’s a virtue which we need to follow.”
Raju Srivastav appeals to each and every person of society to take part of initiative Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He says, “Cleanliness starts from home! Pick the broom and let’s make our Bharat Swachh.”
His residential society and members of Samarth Aangan came in full support and all participated in the mission along with Raju. “I am starting my New Year with this initiative and dream in my eyes that one day our country will be most clean and green country very soon. I wish all my fans a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”
