Dharma Productions sure knows how to relate to the youth. They have always catered their movies to a younger crowd and do so in the most unique way. The next film from the production house, “UNGLI” is most definitely not a typical Bollywood movie. The film is a sleek and edgy drama about five friends who want to bring a change in the system. The digital campaign too has been crafted closely keeping in mind the subject of the film. To promote the film the makers have launched an interactive application that is available for download here.
The application titled ‘Zor Lagake UNGLI‘ gives users options to select a cause that and vent out, raising their UNGLI. Closer to the theme of the film, the causes listed are Corruption, Drink & Drive, Littering and Bad Rickshaws, etc. The angrier one is, the quicker they’ll have to hit the space bar and the higher their score will be. As for the prize and gratification, the top 3 scorers will win a chance to meet the cast! Now that fact alone is enough to get the app! There is also plenty of other film merchandise to be won.
UNGLI intends to give an interesting take on day-to-day problems faced by a common man and how a gang of five friends (signifying the five fingers) choose to stand up and fight for justice with a very interesting and liberating approach. UNGLI stars Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt, Randeep Hooda, Angad Bedi and Neil Bhoopalam in the lead. The film releases on November 20, 2014.
