Bollywood What's Happenin'

Adil Hussain steals the show in "Zed Plus"

The trailer of Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s much-anticipated film “Zed Plus” has been unveiled and we have to say that the film’s first look has quite lived up to the audience’s expectations. The film seems like a high octane narrative that captures the complexities of politics in India. Although the film does not have any major stars, the story seems like it is one that will be able to draw in the crowds.

Adil Hussain plays the protagonist Aslam Puncturewala in the movie, which is a hilarious take on the dance of democracy, and steals the limelight with his simpleton look. When the Prime Minister visits Puncturewala’s humble town, Fatehpur to seek blessing at a famous dargah for his government, which is on the verge of collapsing, he ends up giving Z-level security to the latter due to certain miscommunication. What happens when a common man is given Zed Plus security, is what the movie is all about.
