Newcomer Roma to release "Tere Bin" with Rishi Rich!

Roma is an exciting new British female artist, releasing her first single produced by the pioneer of Indian, R&B and fusion music Rishi Rich. ‘Tere Bin’ (I Just Want) is an instantly infectious British Asian pop song, with all the trademarks of a Rishi Rich hit. ‘Tere Bin’ is a young, fresh and feel-good pop track, releasing on 16th Octoberon 4Play Recordings.

Roma is from South East London. She is a versatile artist who sings various styles of music in Punjabi, Hindi and English. Over the years she has nurtured her voice with the guidance of her father Mr. Surjit Singh Sagar, who has a Sangeet Vishard in tabla and classical singing. Speaking of her debut single, Roma says:

“Music has been my childhood passion and I always knew that somewhere down the line it would be a part of my life. I’ve been performing for many years, since the age of 11 and now to release my first single ‘Tere Bin’ is a huge step for me and my career.”

Roma was spotted at a Shankar, Ehsaan, and Loy concert in London, where she attempted to give her demo CD to the Bollywood maestros. Having met the band’s manager, who heard the demo and showed a keen interest in her music, he connected Roma with British Asian hit maker Rishi Rich.

“Working with Rishi Rich has been a wish for years and I’ve always been a fan of his work. He has an incredible eye for new talent and has worked with some of the biggest names in the British Asian scene and kick started their careers. So to have him produce my debut single is a blessing.”

The release of ‘Tere Bin’ (I Just Want) marks the debut of a new, young and versatile talent. Roma promises to be an exciting and enchanting breakthrough female artist. ‘Tere’ Bin (I Just Want) releases on 16th October on iTunes via 4Play Recordings.
