Bollywood releases many films in a year, and of course, those with the big name stars get the most attention. However, there are others that you may want to catch too! One such film is “Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami“, featuring Divyendu Sharma (of “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” fame) in the lead role. The movie is a social satire and is the debut venture of the Nautanki Films banner. To give you some insight into the film check out the first music video ‘Tod De Kataar’. Sharma plays the role of Subhash Joshi and will be seen opposite Aditi Sharma. The song also features a character called Jayaprabha, played by the voluptuous Neha Dhupia, who is seen making a grand entry to break the symbolic queue.
A 21 gun salute is traditionally an honor bestowed upon military personnel or heads of State. Arranging one for a civilian is an arduous task, if not an impossible one. Purushotam Joshi, played by Anupam Kher, is a common man who fails to earn his bit of appreciation despite being completely honest during his life-long service as a government employee. Joshi’s sons are, however, willing to go the extra mile to get their father his only wish, that of an Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami.
The film centers on this tale of a son’s struggle to bring back the honor that his father was never given. ‘Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami‘ is set to release all across the nation on October 10, 2014.
