Nikhil Dwivedi and Richa Chadda, stars of the upcoming film “Tamanchey,” have been traveling around Mumbai to promote their film.
They recently attended the Narsee Monjee College Festival, “Umang,” to meet and greet the students. They had a ball with their fans and Nikhil even tweeted,
“With a bunch of talented & such a confident lot and NM’s “Umang Festival” today! Took me back to my academic years.”
Their next stop was the Sankalp Dahi Handi Festival on Monday. Also in attendance were other Bollywood stars such as: Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, Madhuri Dixit and Rani Mukherjee. Richa and Nikhil later celebrated Dahi Handi at Kalyan.
The stars received a wonderful and overwhelming response from their fans at these events. The “Tamachey” trailer received wonderful feedback from the film fraternity and mass audiences after it’s launch at the end of July. The look and language of the trailer was a huge hit and has even led to people referring to Nikhil and Richa as their characters, “Munna” and “Babu.”
The film is all set to release on October 10th. When asked about the film, Richa stated,
“It’s a very unusual film, it’s a quirky love story and this is the first time I have attempted a love story. I hope Nikhil and I make an interesting pair and this film is a film of many firsts. I have done my own stunts, there is also a love making scene, that’s also a first. I hope you enjoy the film it’s a pulpy, raw, edgy, noir entertainer.”
You can catch Nikhil and Richa in “Freaky Shukravaar” with Devansh Patel on August 22nd.
