Shiamak Ready to Create Magic of the Movies at IIFA!

Director of Choreography for the 15th VIDEOCON D2H IIFA WEEKEND AND TATA MOTORS IIFA AWARDS, Shiamak Davar kick starts the celebrations with IIFA Magic of the Movies with the divas of Bollywood. As Sonakshi Sinha, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Bipasha Basu perform at the Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre, the audience will witness the best of cinema choreographed in the ever so popular Shiamak Style!

We caught up with the Guru of Dance as he gave us his take on each of the star performers who are taking to the stage tonight!

On Sonakshi Sinha:

Sonakshi is one of the sweetest people I have met. What Sonakshi has achieved from the time she was my student to now, is solely due to her hard work and determination. I will always remember her performance with Ranveer at IIFA Toronto in 2011, and how she captivated the audience, sending them into a frenzy of applause. This time when she takes the stage solo, I am sure she will set the stage on fire; Tampa Bay is in for an absolute treat!

On Kareena Kapoor Khan

The two words to describe Kareena Kapoor would be ‘Quintessentially Bollywood’! She has an infectious energy that you cannot ignore, which is what makes her a star performer. Being from the Kapoor Family it is clear that Bollywood quite literally runs through her blood, with her Bollywood lineage spanning decades. It has been such a delight to choreograph Kareena over the years, as she has no inhibitions when it comes to stage.

On Bipasha Basu

I had the pleasure of choreographing the fit and fabulous Bipasha for the IIFA Awards, Toronto in 2011 and was mesmerized by her electric stage presence and performance. She is definitely a fitness Icon for all her Bollywood fans and an inspiration for the masses. She will blow everyone away with her performance this year!
