The lovely actress Rani Mukerjee and her long-time love and Yash Raj Films head, Aditya Chopra FINALLY tied the knot! The duo just got married in a quiet ceremony in Italy with just close family and friends.
So far the news is that the wedding was held following Bengali customs and a Bengali pandit was even flown in for the ceremony! Of course, no surprise that the new Mrs. Chopra’s wedding outfit was designed by Sabyasachi Mukherji, who also attended the wedding. The guest list also included Rani’s parents, Ram and Krishna Mukerji, her sister-in-law Jyoti, friend Vaibhavi Merchant, Aditya’s mother Pam Chopra, friend to the couple Karan Johar, and Udhay Chopra (at least that’s all the guests we know about!).
The buzz is that this wedding finally happened because Ram Mukerji, Rani’s father, is quite ill and he gave the couple an ultimatum. Rumor has it that Uday Chopra’s alleged girlfriend Nargis Fakhri was also supposed to attend the wedding but due to her shooting schedule for her Hollywood debut, Budapest. Although it is Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra are getting married #YashChopra and #UdayChopra were trending when the news broke!
