Honoring the great women at Women’s Prerna Awards!

The ladies of B-town celebrated an amazing night full of dance and awards and recognition! The first ever held Women’s Prerna Awards were held!

Arun Kumar Sharma, the Chairman and Managing Director of India’s fastest growing oil refineries Lotus Refineries Pvt. Ltd surely is not among the party hob-nobbing socialites who one sees at Page 3 coverages.The industrialist believes in celebrating everything with a cause attached to it and keeping up with the same belief Arun Kumar Sharma has announced an award function to commemorate the first year anniversary of Lotus Refinery Oil.

Call it a unique way of promoting his oil brand or just his humble heart but the award function happens to be a movement to support women for inspiration and achievement. Titled Women’s Prerna Award, the function felicitated the dignitaries from every sphere of life. Check out some of the photos from the event below!

The prestigious personalities to be awarded this year include the likes of Smita Thackeray, Sania Mirza,Sindhutai Sakpal,Saroj Khan,Bhawana Somaya, Disha Wakhani,Jabeen Kak,Smita Salaskar,Reshma Gangji and many more were at the event.

But what’s an award function without a little bit of glamour? Arun Kumar Sharma rightfully so also adds dollops of entertainment by having celebrities like Himesh Reshammiya,Jacqueline Fernandez, Malaika Arora Khan, Kapil Sharma, Claudia Ciesla ,Bhumi Trivedi  and many more perform at the function. The award show was hosted by Mini Mathur and Cyrus Barucha.

Bali Brahmbhatt,  Rohatgi,Sangram Singh, Jacky Bhagnani, Kavita Seth, Mauli Dave, Micheal Chang, Hema Serdesai, Yogesh Lakhani of Bright, Urvashi Chaudhary, Madhurima Tuli, Vandana Sajnani, Riyaz Gangji, Shibani Kashyap, Dheeraj Kumar, Babita, Shailesh Lodha, Aman Trikha, Shabab Sabri, Shakeel Saifi, Rajkumar,Puja Mishra and many more came to support this event.

More than 2000 people came for this event. Sania Mirza came specially from Hyderabad to receive the award. What an amazing event to cherish womans work and a full night of entertainment!
