The ever-popular Usha Uthup enthralled her fans on Saturday evening with amazing renditions of her best-loved pop, jazz and filmy songs at the City Pavilion in Romford. The sold out concert saw Uthup mesmerize the audience for over 3 hours as she sang her hit songs including ‘Doston Se Pyaar Kiya’ (Shaan), ‘Darlingggg’ (Saat Khoon Maaf) and ‘Hai Ye Maya’ (Don 2).
Singing in over 20 languages, Usha Uthup has performed across the globe and has earned a fan base of millions. Her career stretches back to the 1970’s when she worked closely with RD Burman on the classic films ‘Shalimar’ and ‘Shaan’ and then later with Bappi Lahiri on ‘Wardaat’, ‘Armaan’ and ‘Disco Dancer’ amongst others.
