After directing 18 feature films, and producing films which were critically acclaimed, award winning, blockbusters and Jubilee hits, Harry Baweja is all set to release his first animated movie. For the 1st time in the 100 years of Indian Cinema, a feature film in animation will be released based on Sikh history, depicting the Four Sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singhji.
“Our effort is to make this film, true to history and correct in its depiction of religious sentiments” says Baweja.
The story of “Chaar Sahibzaade” is about holding the sanctity, and sacrifice for the sake of the Sikh religion. Speaking about how Baweja came up with such an idea, he says,
“What better I thought than a film that could make millions visually conscious, and aware about the History of Northern India. I picked up the pages from the Sikh history which were very dramatic pages that smoldered my heart and at the same time made me feel proud of the sacrifices of the four sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji.”
The four sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji; Baba Ajit Singh Ji, Baba Jujhar Singh Ji, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji will be seen in a ‘photo realistic’ 3D animation film in S-3D with projection in 2D and 3D.
Ready to hit theaters by next winter, “Chaar Sahibzaade” will be released in Punjabi, Hindi, English and in over a dozen other Indian and foreign languages.
