The entire nation is boiling with anger regarding the recent Delhi gang rape case where a 23 year old para-medical girl was raped by a group of four in a running bus. She, along with a male friend, were then thrown out of the bus by these same men. The public is completely aghast and upset over this incident, but even Bollywood stars are expressing shame and anger over this incident! Bollywood A-listers like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor have all expressed their anger regarding the Delhi rape case and are demanding that all rapists be punished!
The actress of “The City That Never Sleeps” movie Suzanna Reddy took to a unique way of expressing her anger. She depicts her anger via a fashion photoshoot by wenum photographer to protest against the culprits. The actress is demanding justice for the victim and severe punishment to the accused.
She said,
“New Delhi gang-rape…shameful and shameless. The man who rape should be castrate or hang”.
Producer Satish Reddy said the victim was in coma and in a state of trauma:
“Whatever that has happened nobody can change it but Government of India can do a justice by giving death sentence or life imprisonment, a punishment that should set an example for any such perpetrator in the future”.
The director Haroon Rashid was expressing his concern over the safety of women in India he said,
“The horrific rape case in New Delhi is beyond any kind of vocabulary to describe its occurrence !! It is an act of a demon, a monster that deserves the harshest punishment. There should be reassessment of the existing laws in the country for speedy justice. I personally feel Mumbai is safer than Delhi”.
