ZEE has always carved a niche and led the way in innovation and entertainment putting their viewers first. Zee Cinema does just that in their latest endeavor, Zee Cinema’s Cinematic Cricket! Zee promises to bring this action live and exclusively by switching away from normal movies programming by introducing the new ‘Cinematic Cricket’ programming slot with the ZC branding clearly identifying these cricket breaks with a new logo, bugs, packaging and special graphics.
In the best interest of their customers and by popular demand across UK and Europe so more people can enjoy and share the excitement of top cricketing tournaments that Zee Network brings, the premium cricket offerings are now available on Zee Cinema (Sky 790, Virgin Media 810) as part of special Cinematic Cricket band starting with the current Sri Lanka v New Zealand series.
Viewers can enjoy high voltage cricketing face-off between Sri Lanka and New Zealand across one T20, 5 ODI’s and 2 Tests between 30th October – 29th November 2012 on Zee Cinema. The teams are sure to bring out the fireworks on the pitch as they compete for cricketing excellence after the recent T20 world cup where the match was tied between these two teams. Last time New Zealand visited Sri Lanka for Tests was in 2009, when Sri Lanka won 2-0. New Zealand have not won a Test in Sri Lanka since May 1998 and so the current team has a lot to prove on this tour. Sri Lanka v New Zealand Series is available Live on Zee Cinema (Sky 790) with highlights on Zee TV (Sky 788) and Zee Café (Sky 798) on match days at 11pm and 11.30pm respectively.
ZC branding will bear direct resemblance to the corporate ZEE and Zee Cinema channel look with the tagline ‘Cinematic Cricket’. This is the first time any Asian TV channel has created a specially branded scheduling slot in its programming to focus or target on a special demographic audience for a very special programming property. All future cricket related marketing will also carry ZC branding building familiarity and link with the audiences. Be sure to check it out!
