Star studded wedding on Punaar Vivah to have a cameo by King Khan!

Zee TV’s new show Punar vivaah is creating quite a stir these days, what with the Baadshah of Bollywood making a surprise cameo on the show!

With the wedding of the protagonists Yash (played by Gurmeet Chaudhary) and Aarti (played by Kratika Sengar) just around the corner, the producers have roped in tons of soap stars to perform including none other than Shah Rukh Khan himself to talk about the most anticipated shaadi  on television! Viewers will see King Khan talk about his support for the cause of remarriage.

“I think remarriage is still a taboo topic in many sections of our society and I completely fail to understand why. Aren’t widows or divorcees entitled to giving life a second chance? Can they not hope to find marital bliss with another person if their first attempt was a failure? As compared to the past, though there are many more people opting for second marriages today, there is still a gender bias. While men are encouraged to find a second life partner, women still find their own relatives frowning at the prospect of their remarriage. I’m really glad to see that Punar vivaah is going the extra mile to change the public mindset about the subject!” said SRK at the promo shoot.

 

The special wedding episodes also features television’s most sought-after love-birds Manav-Archana from Pavitra Rishta as they dance their way into the mandap, welcoming the groom and his brother. The sangeet ceremony has the year’s most celebrated male vocalist Kamal Khan (of Mera Ishq Sufiana fame) singing soulful sufi hits as the hottest stars of the TV fraternity shake a leg!

Be prepared to see some very unexpected pairings on the dance floor as Choti Bahu’s Radhika teams up for the very first time with the dashing Karanvir Bohra and the ravishing DID winner Shakti Mohan waltzes away with chocolate boy Karan Tacker. The young guns of Pavitra Rishta –  Arjun and Purvi are said to have delivered a knock-out performance.
