Who’s ready to party it up with DJ Flawless?! All you have to do is remember the date and show up January 21st to the city of lights, the city of dreams – NYC, where all the fun is going to take place! Our very own Urban Nerd will be hosting the 5th Annual Aquarius Charity Affair at Hudson Terrace and several of our UrbanAsian.com staff will be present to support the cause. See if you can spot them! Best of all, the event is FREE so you have no excuse not to go!
Entertaining you this year will be a few of the-cream-of-the-soup DJs from around town. As mentioned earlier, DJ Flawless and DJ Bornswift will be there, along with local hot shots, DJ Insomnia and DJ Karma.
Some of the other highlights of the event include celebrations for many Aquarius birthdays, a free 1-hour open bar, a red carpet photographer, and a lot of other fun things from the event’s sponsors.

The venue, Hudson Terrace, is located at the edge of midtown along the beautiful Hudson River. The sponsors of this charity event include Childhood Leukemia Foundation, Dreams Money Can Buy, and South Asian Marrow Association of Recruiters.
This event started in 2008, when Raj and multiple Aquarius/January birthdays would get together and celebrate their birthdays while fundraising for charities. This tradition has continued now for 5 years so come join in making a difference; after all it is the beginning of 2012, a new year. In the past, the event has raised over $5000 and has even attracted some celebs! So, look out for your favs in case they show up to celebrate!
