Veena Malik, one of India’s most desirable bachelorettes is on the hunt to find her Mister Right in Imagine’s Veena Ka Swayamvar 2012. This is the fourth time Imagine TV is hosting a swayamvar.
The series began with Rakhi Ka Swayamvar in 2009, followed by Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in 2010, and most recently with Ratan Ka Rishta. While Rahul married Dimpy Ganguly, whom he selected in the show, the other two swayamvars did not result in a wedding. Rakhi and her chosen groom split soon after the show as he wanted her to give up Bollywood to move to Canada. Ratan’s similarly ended in friendship only. So, will Veena’s swayamvar end in marriage like Rahul’s, or will it result in an indefinite engagement?
Veena will be putting contestants through their paces to find her prince charming with a series of tasks, competitions and one-on-one meetings – all aired on TV! Contestants can apply from all over the globe and take a chance in winning over Veena’s heart.
“I’m looking forward to meeting all the contestants. I’m at the right age to settle down now and hopefully I will meet the man of my dreams. It would be great to meet guys from out of India too and get to know the right person.’’ said Veena Malik, who is currently gearing up for the release of her debut Item Number in Bollywood with Gali Gali Chor Hai.
