Legendary musician, remixer and DJ Bally Sagoo will be making a sensational return to the British Asian music scene tomorrow night! Bally is flying to London for one night only to attend the Lebara Mobile UK Asian Music Awards (UK AMA) Voting Launch Party on 6th December at Merah.
Bally, who has released timeless classics such as ‘Noorie’, ‘Chura Liya’ and ‘Dil Cheez’, is one of the most successful British Asian artists on the planet, and his hits are some of the most recognised and most popular songs in the world. At the UK AMA Voting Launch Party, he will be speaking to BBC Asian Network’s Tommy Sandhu on stage to reveal details about his new album, set to release next year.
Commenting on the visit, Bally said:
“I am making a very short trip to the UK especially for the UK AMAs launch event this week. I am delighted that I will be speaking to the British Asian media and music industry professionals who will be attending the event and am looking forward to talking briefly about my new album and other projects which are in the pipeline for next year. Having won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the UK AMAs in 2003, I am pleased to see the event developing every year and building a strong platform for British Asian musicians globally. As they celebrate their 10th year anniversary next year, I am glad to be a part of it once again.”
